Teacher Requirements 

Sparkfish will consider applications from  Native English speaking teachers who fulfil the following requirements: 

• A Bachelor degree or above 
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification (120 hours) 
• Preferably two years experience of teaching children / adults online. 

Commitment

• Part-time, independent contractor status.  (Please note as an independent contractor you are responsible for filing your own taxes and paying social security in your country of fiscal residence).
• Minimum 4 set hours per week for 35 weeks. 
• Independent contractors will sign a 1-year initial service agreement which is subject to the satisfactory completion of a successful  3 month probationary period.

Technical Requirements

• A fast and reliable desktop computer or laptop (intel i3 processor or above) with wired internet connection. 
• Reliable hotspot for backup in case of internet outage.
• HD Webcam.
• Good quality noise cancelling headphones with a built in microphone.
• A quiet indoor, clutterfree, teaching environment.
• Applicants successful at interview will be subject to a satisfactory internet speed test.
